Akuter aims the underserved small and medium business segment in industrialized countries with a particular emphasizing on sectors that have a mandatory need to match ongoing regulations.
The Knowledge Management market for compliance and certification is a large fast growing international market supported by strong economic, politic and demographic trends.

Akuter Enterprise is a scalable web-based application server developed using the latest Internet technologies.

	Didier Bourgeot, MSc, co-founder and President & CEO
	Didier has over 20 years of successful experience in managing and building companies, products and sales teams. Didier moved to North America in 1995 and founded Advanced Technology Ventures Corp. a consulting company and Akuter in 2000. Prior coming to America , Didier served as General Manager for South Europe at Spider Systems, the largest European internetworking manufacturer. Didier also served in several executive positions at Group Schneider and Thales. He received his Engineer Diploma in 1983 from CNAM, Paris in electronics and received his education in international business and marketing at Sup de Co., Lyon and HEC, Paris. didierb AT akuter.com

Jay Farhat, Ph.D. co-founder and Technical Advisory Board member

Dr. Farhat has been building successful applications such as Internet roaming and settlement systems, web based Internet applications and transaction processing systems for more than 20 years. He participated in the establishment of the Internet standards. Jay served at North Systems, Inc. as the founding VP of Engineering. He was also the founding VP of Engineering at iPass Inc., an Internet communications and settlement Company now a public company. He received his Ph.D. in 1975 from UCLA in Geochemistry and Computer Modeling.

	Marie Jeanne Becker Godard, co-founder and Strategic Advisory Board member
	Marie Jeanne has been building a successful chain of cosmetic stores in Europe with a new concept: Beauty for everyone. The "Marie Jeanne Godard" chain reached 85 stores throughout Europe in 1998 when bought by LVMH group. Marie Jeanne moved from Paris to Vancouver in 1998 and co-founded Akuter, Inc.

Jean-Matthieu Bourgeot, Cofondateur Directeur Technique
Jean-Matthieu is a leading engineer in software development and supervises development and support services with Akuter Technologies. He is instrumental in translating customers' needs into powerful features and providing fast answers to customers' support requirements. Cofounder of Akuter Technologies, Jean-Matthieu is the architect of Akuter Enterprise, the LCMS we propose.

Marie Alice Dibon, Pharm.D Advisory of the Board for the life sciences sector

Marie Alice Dibon has over 10 years experience servicing the life science industry. She has been managing research and production in the field of topical OTC and medical devices for 7 years prior to starting her own Scientific Communications company, dedicated to addressing the growing need for quality Scientific Communications in the field of Life Sciences. She is the chair of the Biotech Committee of the French American Chamber of Commerce of San Francisco. Marie Alice received her Pharm.D from Institut des Sciences Pharmaceutiques de Lyon in 1991.
